"Its such a beatiful and calming haven and I am addicted to their waterlemon juice at breakfast. They also have Marmite, which I have a weakness for."

Dana Arbib: “We’re such huge fans of Jeffrey Gibson's work that we convinced him to collaborate with us on a scarf and jewelry collection for spring 2014. This photo is from his exhibition at the Marc Straus Gallery, which included his series of embellished punching bags. They are so ornate and colorful—we could study them for hours.”

Farah: “This is a form of a Johnson solid, a shape where every face is a polygon but not necessarily the same polygon. This is the work of Morton C. Bradley, Jr., a complex artist and sculptor who based his work on mathematical geometric forms. It’s pretty!”

Dana: “New York City is always inspiring. We came upon this mural of fashion deities Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld while walking in Nolita. It’s signed by Bradley Theodore, and we’re hoping we’ll come across more of his work!”

image

Farah: “We love Lulu Wolf’s collage and mixed-media work as well as this more simple print. This is something we’d love to hang in our home.”

image

Dana: “We are hugely inspired by the work of Louise Despont. This series was done on pages from antique ledger books. She fills the sheets with neat, diagrammatic arrangements of organic and graphic shapes, creating patterns that conjure mystical calculations.”

Farah: “Vittorio Ciccarelli is somewhat mysterious to us—we haven’t been able to find a ton of information about him—but we are in love with his graphic and color-saturated style. We are especially fond of the photos in his invisible. series. They’re incredible.”

Dana: “This is a piece from 1922 that lives in the Bauhaus archive. The Bauhaus movement has been very influential to A Peace Treaty’s work over the years. We love the colors and shapes that make this tapestry feel both ancient and completely modern and relevant.”
