Head to New Bedford, Massachusetts, Where Caroline Z. Hurley’s Magic Happens
When the demand for Caroline Z. Hurley’s all-season throws and cozy-cool pillows ballooned and she could no longer block-print every dang piece herself, she started exploring ways to expand her production. The perfect fit: Working with a talented cooperative based in New Bedford, Massachusetts, a town about 200 miles from NYC that, hey, has a pretty rich background in this sort of thing (more on that here). She’s pretty obsessed with her set-up—which gives her a chance to support a growing made-in-America movement outside of the garment districts of New York and L.A.—and you will be too when you hear the story and see the awesomeness her team creates for her line.
But wait: There’s more. Dive into this video to see Caroline’s posse doing its thing.
