In his many years working as a makeup artist and beauty expert, Andrew Glass was struck by the weird, gaping difference between how products were marketed to men and women. He set out to solve for that, first co-founding a unisex at-home waxing line called Waksē and then stepping out with Non Gender Specific. Launched in 2018, it’s a collection of skincare products that’s made for people, period. As Andrew puts it, “I sought to create a skincare brand for all humans, regardless of gender, skin tone, or skin type.” And Andrew’s Atlanta-based biz isn’t just about simplifying the conversations around who certain serums and cleansers are for—it’s also about cutting down on the number of steps in your nightly routine. Enter his Everything Serum, a creamy, orange-hued liquid that relies on a powerhouse list of vegan ingredients like nettle extract and microalgae to brighten, firm, diminish wrinkles and pore size, encourage cell rejuvenation—the list goes on. With 40,000 bottles sold in the company’s first year, is it any surprise everybody wants some?
