Former University of Virginia roomies Josh Williams and Eric Prum are all about taking already functional things and finding ways to make them a) even more useful and b) better looking in the process. Take for, for example, the product that originally launched their kitchen and home goods line W&P Design in 2012: a glass Mason jar, dressed up with a cocktail shaker and strainer top, which made it that much easier for those messing around at home to get in on the whole mixologist moment. They continued their brilliant streak with the invention of their line of Carry On Cocktail Kits, which provide everything you need to mix up an old fashioned or a bloody mary at 10,000 feet, except the booze. Also on the roster? A book imprint that publishes gems like Ranch, an ode to the fan-favorite dressing, and a chic spice grinder that works sort of like a mortar and pestle, but without flinging peppercorns around your kitchen at high velocity. Cheers to that.
