Everything to Do and Eat in L.A.'s K-Town

Key to the City 06/14/2018

L.A.’s Koreatown might be especially buzzy these days, thanks to all of its new shops and hotels, but sisters Natalie and Diane Park have been keeping tabs on its hot spots for years. The creators of the very cool clothing line Hannayujin grew up in the neighborhood—which makes them exactly the tour guides we want. Below, Diane IDs all their favorites.

Eat

HWA SUN JI TEA AND COFFEE

“This is a Korean traditional tea house, so they have seating on the ground—you sit on a little cushion and have tea or coffee. It’s just a really great atmosphere.”

OB BEAR

“They’re known for their Korean-style chicken wings, and their beer options are really good as well.”

CROFT ALLEY

“We like to come here for dessert and get their housemade yogurt with chlorophyll. It’s really delicious. We usually come here after doing some shopping on Melrose Place.”

“They have the traditional Korean hot rooms, steam rooms, and saunas and also really amazing massages. You can also have dessert in the common area, so that is really nice.”

“We love going to the Ace Hotel for drinks and as well as going on the roof because it has such a nice view.”
